Quick answers for first-time and returning Potluck volunteers.

No. Most volunteer groups are designed for everyday community participation. If you are willing to help, show up, communicate, and work with others, there is a place for you.

Yes. Families are welcome to help together where it makes sense. Some groups are easier for family participation than others, such as Welcome, Food Coordination, Setup, Games, Communications, and Cleanup.

Teenagers can help in age-appropriate ways, especially with setup support, games, guest care, cleanup, photos, and general assistance. Adult supervision should be considered where needed.

No. Some people may help before the event, some during the event, and some with cleanup. When registering, indicate when you are available so the team can plan around real availability.

That is fine. Choose General Support or select the group that feels closest to your interest. You can also indicate that you are flexible and willing to help where support is needed.

Not at this stage. The goal is to gather interest, form volunteer groups, and allow each group to self-organize around what needs to be done.

Only if you agree to be contacted that way. WhatsApp is expected to be one of the main ways volunteer groups coordinate because it is quick and familiar for many community members.
